Lucid
I have an interesting problem that I would like to put to the experts out there, I have some very nice gold bodied gippies that have red and yellow colouring on the fins and tail end, I have put 3 females and 1 male into a tank to hopefully carry this line on as the male is quite striking. PROBLEM: The male is not interested in the females, the females are chasing the male and he just keeps on swimming away from them. the tank previously housed 4 females and 1 male from a different strain, and has a c02 injector on it, as well as having iron added every 2 days or so. The last lot of guppies produced to lots of fry no problem and don't think that much has changed n the tank between the two lots. I don't do tests so please don't hask for the parameters as I have no idea. The tank is 900mm long x 450mm high x 450mm deep. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
