Brianemone
hahahha my spelling stinks any way how many of you quarantine fish/corals before adding to the main tank???
chimera
depends on source, but no, not usually.
Pies
Nope. I personally think that the stress of being in the quarantine is going to cause more stress and effect the fish. They have always been in someone elses tank for at least 3 weeks prior to me getting them anyway. If I get whitespot or whatever, whatever Pies

dhindry
I quarantine all my fish before putting them in my main tank. I think its better to be safe than sorry.
Pies
No doubt its a good idea in principle. Dhindry - Any chance on seeing some photos of you tank? Us Wellington reef keepers need to stick together. Are you keeping corals? Pie
petplanet
Nope, never have. It is a good idea but if you have another tank that is a reasonable size, and equiped properly, who can resist the temptation not to stock it up as well. dhindry
Well here is a photo of my marine tank. This tank is one I built with a friend to keep seahorses in. They all died I turned it into a marine tank and had it running for about 9 months. The tank is around 200L. I have in the tank about 20kg of live rock as well as 1 Bangaii Cardinal 1 Algae Blenny 1 Domino Damsal 1 Yellow tail damsel 1 Cinnamon Clown 1 Blue/Gold Damsal I will be getting another tank soon, in my new house when I move.
