Morcs
Ive just noticed a load of tiny worm things all over my glass... they are about 2mm long, very thin, and MOVE! Not sure what they are... Ive always been disease free except for the odd bit of white spot, wondering if perhaps these are the ich parasites, and ive never noticed the parasites themselves before except now as my tank is totally bare... Im treating with wonder tonic at half dose (due to BN and birchirs) and will WC on friday and see how it goes. Impossible to get a picture unfortunately. Any thoughts? alanmin4304
Usually caused by overfeeding.
BikBok
i had them early on ... there was a nice colony going in my noodles!!! I swished them in the tank water and the fish love to eat them! I think the feeding regimen is under control now as I haven't seen the, for ages. phoenix44
they are one of the simplest organisms around. live in the water. you feed them, and then you see them
alanmin4304
It is about balance. In a normal tank there will be a few and you probably don't notice them but in a tank with lots of uneaten food they multiply like mad and you can't help but notice them. Morcs
I scrubbed the glass to hopefully get them floating in the water column, and did a vaccum/10% WC, and threw in a bio chem zorb. sorted. 8)
