Sue Fleet Posted October 4, 2009 Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 :lol: :lol: On October 9, 10 and 11 the Home and Garden Expo is on at the Westpac Stadium and amongst the displays and stands one will find Wellington Aquarium and Water Garden Society. When the organisers were looking to entice exhibitors to the Expo they searched for the word Gardens and one of the many entries was WAWGS. The club was contacted, with a very good offer, we could have a three by three meter space at no cost. This was discussed at the club meeting where a few questions were raised but the decision was made that if Sandy, our President, was happy that the concerns raised were not going to be an issue we would be happy to take them up on their offer. We are going to set up a pond, complete with artificial grass, paving stones and goldfish. :bounce: There will also be fish tanks on show......................Definitely Home & Garden At least it will get the fish clubs in the area noticed. The Christchurch Totally Tanked did similar at a local Pet Expo and did very well, garnering a lot of interest. :bounce: If I can help with full colour A4 posters for your display then let me know.
