bamweevil
hi everyone been reading site for a while and thougth it was silly not to join. New to this hobby i started after daugther got three goldfish for her birthday and i didnt like the small plastic container they were living in so i went out and brougth a 210 litre tank aqua one model, daugther has since got bored of fish and change to mice. I have one celestail goldfish, one blackmoor, one pearlscale, and two fantails. Fancy goldfish are my perference would love 2 more such as veiltail blackmoor and pom pom but little unsure if theres enough room for them in my tank. My other tank i brought today is just small 22litre sickbay tank howfully wont be needed but its good to have on hand better safe than sorry. Would love to get more tanks but i think the other half migth have something to say about that . Considering the poor mans comp force into corner by my bug collection and greyhound dog,

Caryl
Hi bamweevil. Good to see you. We have quite a few from Christchurch in here. I would not add more goldfish to that tank. In fact, as they grow you will be overstocked. Goldfish need a lot of space and good filtration as they are a chunky fish that produce a lot of waste! Regular partial water changes are a must. Quite a few of us gather in the chat room each night around 9pm give or take half an hour. SOmetimes we even talk about fish!
Phillz
Hi & welcome, I'm new here too, these people have been fantastic!!! But watchout though, I got more & more interested as I am learning LOL. I'll have to change the tanks around more so the other half won't see my new fish arriving LOL. You'll have fun here
