Aquila
Do you think 2-4 angels would get along with a small group glass catfish? How about with male guppies? I know they can pick on smaller fish. Its been ages since I had any (like 9 years old) and I was thinking of adding them into a 220 community tank. Most sites consider them ambush predators so they would be unsafe with small fish but I know angels tend to have diff personalities as well. I am unsure of the exact size of them at the moment, but I realize smaller would be better. What are your experiences with having them in a community tank (especially with smaller fish)? If you add them when they are small, can they grow up to be fairly peaceful? Cheers!
Vinnie
To each own fish. The first 2 I ever owned killed any small fish in the same tank. But the 3 i have now, (and 2 of them are a pair) don't do much unless the pair tries to spawn - then they do pick on other fish of any size (mostly the male fighter). Get them small and in even numbers and they might be ok. But as I said, each to there own
N1CK
They are usally quite bad tail nippers, there were a few in the pet shop here that completely destroyed a fighters tail, so they might not get along with your guppies then again all fish have different personalities
Aquila
Yeah, see I like angels..but I just dislike their personalities I think I might stick to other fish for now, i don't want any drama. Thanks for the input!
