whetu
Mahurangi Technical Institute I would guess 8) Thanks Caryl! As soon as I posted that I thought it probably explains it all in the video - but I'm trying to avoid watching YouTube videos as I seem to use up all my allocated interweb gigawhatsists each month by watching too many then I revert to dial-up speed for the last week! So I will watch the video closer to the end of the month when I know I can afford to!
Zev
The poor male looked totally tuckered out at the end!
Stella
That is awesome!! Thanks for posting this. Do you allow the males to guard the eggs or do you remove the adults after spawning?
dc
We do both. We get the best results by seperating the eggs from the adults. I suspect that in a tank situation there are too many stresses such as other fish close by and syphon hoses appearing from nowhere and they freak out and eat the eggs.
