SamH
What would be the smallest tank to keep Pantodon buchholzi in? Anyone had any experience with them? What other fix can be kept with them? Thanks.
enzoom1
60L tank would be good for a pantadon butterflyfish. You might find that they look a bit, well, dead. Just floating at the top.. But hey, u mite find it cool lol It shouldnt be kept with fish the occupy the upper region of the tank and that are small enough o be swallowed. SamH
So a 90 x 30 x 30 (81L) tank with BN's, Kribs, Platies and Female Fighter is no good then?
phoenix44
thats 3ft so is ok. best have some good lids and no spaces in the lid. they WILL find it and escape. and then die.
SamH
If I can get a decent pair then I might have to move some fish around... The lids on my tank are custom, only a 1cm gap around the HOB but sit inside the spacer bars so they're tight but touchy.
Cricketman
+1 to the "anything that can fit in thier mouths" and they have rather large "trapdoor" hinged mouths! saw one in a LPS in with neons... watched it gorge itself for awhile before someone noticed....
