Mad Whip
Hi All, I'm going to buy a shoal of Ember Tetra. I think they will look mint in the big planted tank. Has anyone on here kept them or bred them. Any hints? Cheers James
sharn
Easy as to look after and we found ours bred without even realising! Found some little tackers swimming around one day in their tank with apple snails and pristella tetras *shrug* They seem pretty disease resistant and do live for quite a while. axolotl-danio
I have 5 in a 50 litre planted aquarium but am planning to get more. I find they are quite delicate fish but they look great and people always comment on how small they are. They defiantly do not like fast currents. Hope that helped. Mad Whip
I'm glad to hear positive things. I bought 10 on Sunday they are in a breeding program right now so they should be shoal worthy when the tank is growing well. I hope to end up with about 100 total.
