axolotl-danio
They were at the pet shop and they were labeled as glass angels but a google search does not bring up anything. They had the shape of a lemon tetra but about half the size (about the size of an ember tetra) and they were see through with a slight greenish colour in them. They were $10 and they did not seem to school. They were quite thin and almost looked squished. Thanks

phoenix44
yeah, that's an indian glass fish. you get them dyed with some funky colours in other countries. unfortunately they are very weak, and usually come in very small and die off any ways. Zev
There is another, Parambassis lala, but it is hard to tell the difference. Some look more longer in the body, especially the dyed ones - yetch... Image retrieved from http://www.fishlinkworldwide.com

They do well if you feed them live foods - they will pig out on a white worm that is just as long as they are, and swim around with it in their mouth for ages trying to swallow it, if some other fish does not nick if off them first! sharn
Are Parambassis ranga the same as Chanda Ranga? Chanda Ranga is what they are labelled as on the lists along with 'glass angel' so that is why they would be called glass angels at the shop
