jc360
thats why i love this hobby. everything going well, inspected my new fighter and he appeared to have a couple of translucent bumps in his forehead. Being an inquisitive and caring fishkeeper i caught him and went to touch one of them to get some sort of understanding as to what it is... it swam away, its like a mini crab. that gave me the worst case of the heebetee geebetees ive had in a long time. Please tell me 1 what the heck are these things? 2 how do i destroy them?

Adrienne
I don't know what it will be but assuming the fish is in a quarantine tank given he is new you could add rock salt to the tank at 1 gram per litre of water and turn the temp up to about 30 degrees. It won't hurt the fighter but might kill off what it is.

No other fish in this tank have these including my female fighter.
