Ok I am rather excited.

I know next to nothing about breeding egg layers. I have a quarantine tank with 1 blind cave tetra and 2 otocinclus. The tank is bare. apart from a heater, filter, piece of zucchini and the eggs. The eggs are white and on the bottom of the tank.

If I post a pic is their any chance of of identifying them?

If they are from the blind cave tetra will they hatch or do you need a male in there to ? (as I said before I know next to nothing about breeding egg layers)

What are the chances of any fry surviving if they are oto eggs?

Can oto parents be in with the eggs?

Any other info would be very helpful thanks :bounce:

Is there any obvious appearances between you ottos?

Is one larger, fatter?

heres hoping its ottos :D

On the other hand , if the lone blind tetra is female and for some reason popped out a few, of course they would be infertile, and white looking.

Wait and see
