Jaide
I bought 4 baby platies a while ago, they're doing well but 1 has died. I think I have 1 female and 2 males. One of the males as paired off with the female and harrasses the other male - so the other male is all by himself - I'd like to buy more to even things up a bit. How many should I buy and do all colours/species get on ok? I'd like some which are a different colour to yellow. I thought I'd buy 3 more, total of 6 - for a 40 litre tank. darkfur
most livebearers do better if there are 3 or so females to a male so the girls don't get harassed too much. Once you have a big group it doesn't seem to be such a problem
