livebearer_breeder
cuz i was told thats what i would need to keep all the killie eggs from going strile or sumthing like that? LB
Pegasus
Hi LB, Might be a bit hard to find this on its own (not really sure.. don't get out much).. but the idea of adding MB to your eggs is so that they won't fungus... so any anti fungal med would do the trick. fins
It should be at most LFS. I dont use it on my N. Rachovii eggs because they are hardly wet. But you should use it when keeping eggs submerged in water for a long period of time. It stops eggs getting fungus. Its the parents fault if they are sterile. Lucid
I am assuming MB is meth blue and if so should be readily available at any lfs. Most of the ones over this way have it shae and Animates or hutt pet centre will have it.

kylefish02
You don keep nothobranchius eggs in water as they are egg burriers and in africa they breed just before the dry season so the eggs have to saty in litlle or no water at all for 6-8months (i think) and you have to do this for them in captivity aswell othere wise they would not hatch
