Ismart120
man, when I had guppies, I thought the six or so every now and again was a good lot, but then again, I wondered why people complained they got over run with fry. Now I know why

mickey_1975
Hi, how do you get them to release their fry as mine just hold on to them for ages. Is cold water the trick to get them to drop or just fresh water. I love the sunset platys!
Stephanie
I hate that this thread popped up again. Waiting ever so patiently for my albino guppy to drop fry. :yaw1:
caserole
Some albino females never give birth to albino fry, they just develop eggs and reabsorb them. This could be your problem..... have you tried mating them to a non albino male??? and mating the fry together as 25% should be albino. Stephanie
So I learnt that albinos are quite sensitive compared to my others, i've somehow lost a male and a female. But last night I changed the water and my four adults starting going crazy about an hour later. I am now a proud grandmother to 13 albino guppy fry. :happy2:
caserole
I had a female give birth to 7 albino fry earlier in the week, I didn't even know they carried the albino gene's.
Stephanie
They're kinda freaky looking. Crossing my fingers they grow nicely!
