Southerrrngirrl
Up until recently I had a school of 5 Rosy Barbs, but 4 of them have died so am now left with 1. Just wondering about the possibility of getting a school of 5 or so tiger barbs to fill the tank with. I've always liked Tiger Barbs but have been a bit weary of them since they have the semi-agressive reputation. However, they would be in this tank with only the 1 Rosy Barb and 2 Bristlenoses. Would the Rosy Barb & Tiger Barbs get along ok? Also would the Tiger barbs be agressive towards the Bristlenoses? I can move the tiger barb to my other community tank if needed. Caryl
I had 1 tiger barb in with rosys with no problem. I don't think the tigers would bother the BNs. Most fish ignore them.
whetu
Have you considered re-homing the rosy? They definitely seem to do better in a school and I'm sure you could find someone in your area who could add it to their school. It just seems a shame to keep a single schooling fish with no friends of its own type.
Southerrrngirrl
Don't think so. I don't know anyone down this way who keeps fish. I was just thinking however, of moving Rosy Barb to the other tank, getting a few mates for him. So then I won't have to worry about it.
