evil_elmo
for some reason my hair grass always dies off, currently i have some very short and sparcly sp. planted. What do i need to do? i think the loaches may be chomping on it but not sure. Great looking tanks dude! when you say balance what would you describe as a winning formula? hairgrass needs a fair amount of lights but it could be a nutrient deficiency, check this site for causes http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_nutrient.htm lighting, co2 and fertilizer all have to match, ie...high lights will need high levels of co2 and ferts... I'd love to try it in my tank but that would involve a total upheaval of everything in the tank.
