Swordtails

I have 6 swordtails in my community tank, 5 females and 1 male. One of the females is the boss of the tank and chases the male away all the time. He knows not to mess with her!

Up until recently I though nothing of this behaviour, but last week I saw that the female was growing a swordtail!! Is this fish changing sex?? :o:o:o Is this possible??

Should two male swordtails be kept in the same tank, will they fight?

Anybody out there with some comments........

Changing sex is known in the fishy world although sometimes it may be a late developing male. You can keep 2 males together if there are plenty of hiding places as one will always want to be dominant. Just keep an eye on them and if one seems to be getting harassed, remove it. Always make sure there are plenty of females to share
