petplanet
Just trying to find out if anyone is using T5 lighting. I have an Arcadia quad T5 and have had a few problems with it. It only works on two of its 4 tubes and has blown 6 in twelve months - have to wait for a replacement to arrive so I can get it checked out. Most of my corals seem to be growing well. I have a small tank grown pearl bubble to trade if anyone is interested.

reef
The arcadia t5s are not very good quality, they look good however they are far inferior to other units like aquaconnect/ bressline. The arcadia units run cheap ballast and the bulbs dont last long. t5s are great, i have even had my acropora do really well under t5s. They are a alternative to metal halides, however metal halides are still the best source of lighting. it all depends what you are going to keep. I use them in the quarantine facility and do recommend then over normal floros.
Pies
I have T5s 4x 5ft. They are OK but I am not sure if I would buy them again. Not reccomended by me (not sure what brand mine are). Piemania
