Caryl
If both of them are laying the eggs then they are both females. If one is doing the laying and the other following along behind fertilising them, then you have a pair. The slightest disturbance will upset the angels and they will probably eat the eggs. Ira
hi all went to feed my fish and both my black angels are laying eggs on the uv filter they are really protective over them do i remove the other fish and since both are laying eggs does that mean they are both females? Unless you know of any males that lay eggs...That pretty much tends to be the definitive trait of females.
