lmsmith Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 So, I've decided I'm getting 2 green spotted puffers, and I'm just getting my brackish knowledge back up to date. I add salt to my guppy tanks now (a small or big handful depending on the size of the tank and the type of fish) by just chucking it in. However, I was just reading this http://www.fnzas.org.nz/salt.0.html and it said not to add straight salt, you should dissolve it first. Ira Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 To begin with you're best to use something like marine salt, not table salt or tonic salt.
