lmsmith
Have a look for some second hand ones. You'll probably be able to find an eheim 2215 for about that second hand. They're good filters.
ryanjury
Could go for Cf1200 or jebo 819 for that price and they're both good filters pumping around 1200LPH (overkill for your tank but you might as well buy the biggest you can who is to say you wont ever need it for a bigger tank..). wagonman
how are they plumbed, have they got spray bar's for the outlet's, what is the flow like on the outlet, can it be adjusted? Thanks. p.s im going to ask a really dumb question, when it say's 22w for example, that doesn't mean it use's 22w a day doe's it??
ryanjury
Both are just standard externals spraybars etc.. No flow adjustments I am not a fan of ones that are adjustable I don't think it would be too good for the filter.. It is very easy to point spraybar into edge of tank or back corner or difuse flow with rocks etc..
wagonman
so does the spray bar have to be above the water level. Thanks.
Caryl
No the spray bar doesn't have to be above the water. Mine are below as I can't stand the noise otherwise.
Adrienne
Spray bar generally goes into the water unless you require it above the water level for some reason. If you want surface movement point the holes in the spray bar to the top of the tank, if you want less water movement point them to the back of the tank.
