Jaide
This is my bane with tanks - I accidently siphoned water below the filter's intake pipe so it was sucking air, now I can't get the thing restarted again as air bubbles in it - is there a sure fire way to get it going without taking the filter apart? phoenix44
lower the pipes to the level of the filter... water will come out so beware... ideally put the filter on a chair of something and then put the water out pipe below it - in a bucket. Jaide
Thanks Phoenix, it's sucking well now but the outlet pipe is just a dribble still.
phoenix44
put the outlet lower in a bucket or some thing, until pressure builds up, then raise it slowly... it works well with a 2213/15.
Jaide
That's exactly what I did - it has finally righted itself, seems there must have been more air in the cannister that need to escape so am all go - thanks Phoenix
