Have invested in a 10/15L nano tank for my male fighter, will be fully planted with dwarf sags and some anubia nanas and various others. What filtration do people recommend? Would I be fine with doing daily water changes if I don't ue a filter?

a small sponge filter would be ok , or small internal filter as bettas dont like water moving much

i have seen a really cute tiny one (about 20cm cubed) and am tempted, very tempted.... but what would one put in such a tank?

usually just plants ,and some put bettas and small fish like microrasboras etc in them

Mine's a cube and holds 10L...do people think I could get away with not having a filter if I'm going to be doing daily water changes? and the tank will be fully planted...will put the nano pic up once fully pimped out

Just make a small canisterfilter so theres only pipes in the tank

yeah i dont reckon you'll need a filter... fighters like still water any ways... (u are puttin a fighter in?)....

I wouldnt bother for a 10L nano... just change water once in a while... feed only as much as eaten immediately.... shove a tonne of plants in there though, lol... like a jungle..

haha yeah it won't take long to do a water change anyway..could attempt to make a canister out of a small can 8) but I'm not technologically blessed.
