Caryl
I don't have clown loaches but aren't they susceptible to white spot but are sensitive to the treatment? You aren't swinging the temp from 31 to 20 degrees every 48 hours are you?
Vjarn
yeah, but its too late, he died today, 15cm long. i have six left now but they seem to be fine, no white spot, highly active and scoots round the tank.

doch
i had the same problem with my clowns tried every thing but in the end it seemed to be back to the water quality ph was a little to low for them used some ph up 7.0 and they came right
Luke*
I've read clowns ideal pH is 6.5, could be worth looking into futher via google. They come from Asia where there are areas highly acid and others alkaline due to limestone I believe. Regular water changes, consistent pH, can't beat that.
