Dixon1990
Put a male and a female in the same tank, throw in some floating plants and wait
Janelle
As Dixon said: Male + female(s) + plants to hide in = babies! Then just crush the food you feed the parents so the babies can eat it too. There's really nothing special to feeding the fry, unless you want to maybe separate them and feed them live food so they grow faster. ryanjury
You probably wont even need a male most females will have already been kept with one and already be pregnant Good luck, lots of plants if you want to keep them with the mother.. skaffen
I'd like to know how to not breed them! I was so proud when my first fry showed up, unexpected. Now I realise it had nothing to do with me. Just add water... If it's a community tank, Java Moss makes a great hiding spot for the fry. Luke*
the best bunch of fry i ever got i took a tank 45cm (long) x 20cm x 20cm filled with java moss and put in a huge fat female. the fresh water (pre-warm and condition it of course) will cause her to give birth. got 60 fry doing this method!!
