My pair have laid inside a flowerpot and from what i can see, they are all white looking. Is this normal or are they infertile? He's the only person i know whos bred them. ryanjury Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 Egg's will be creamy coloured for the first day or so, fertile ones will darken until they hatch around day 3 or so.. You will be able to tell if they're no good as they go really white and get fluffy like fungus that you sometimes get on fishes wounds etc.. You can have some back if they growup :lol: Cheers Ryan will have another look tonight to see what colour they are now as it been three days.Never breed kribs before so I have never seen what colour the eggs normally are. stimpy29 Posted September 13, 2008 Report Share Posted September 13, 2008 to be honest i didnt see the eggs mum guarded them inside half a coconut shell and brought out the babies when they were free swimming i think in general eggs are cream colored and ones that are white are infertile . dont worry tho in a couple of weeks they will be ready to go again good luck!! alanmin4304 Posted October 20, 2008 Report Share Posted October 20, 2008 When the babies are a few days old you can siphon them off and rear them in in another tank and as stated the parents will go gain very shortly.
