they normally hatch in 12 to 20 days.

After you have raised a few, you will find its easier to place the eggs on peat and hatch them all together

BBS is the best all round food for them

It would pay to join the club as you get all sorts of info every month

You could try putting the eggs in a small pill container say 20 - 30ml.

Add some micro worms and about 1/2 full with water.

Put them in your pocket and carry on with whatever you were doing.

Check every 30mins or so for fry. Don't leave more than about 4 hrs, if still not hatching put back where they came from.

Worked for me, was the only way i got any scheeli out.

ive used freshwater shrimps and they worked well i think they helped hatched them 2 as they are always cleaning the eggs and moving them but dont eat them unless there infertile. heres a article on a guy in singapore that does it who inspired me to do it http://www.killies.com/Incubating2.htm and heres how to force hatch as others have saidhttp://www.killies.com/Breedinglyretails.htm

cheers

ok its been like forever now and thet still havent hatched :(

what if i put the micro worms straight in the water with the eggs?

will this work?

The problem i had is that they were eyeing up but not hatching. I added a good bunch of micro worms to the eggs in a small vial, put in pocket and a good number hatched within the hour.

I wouldn't put them into the main egg container as the worms could drop and stuff the water.
