farmchick Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 I have about 45 bristles in my 3ft malawi tank. But only 10 of them are of the non edible size! My Malawis tend to leave them to do their own thing. Havent lost one yet. ryanjury Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 I have kept clown loaches with africans and they were sweet have seen them in a few tanks too.. Rainbow fish also seem to do pretty well. I also keep and breed bristlenoses in my african tanks, I am unsure if the babies would survive because I poach them before they leave the nest.
