lmsmith
I have 4 BBGs, but 1 has a broken yellow stripe with black in it. I found an article which says that the ones with broken stripes are actually Brachygobius nunus, or Golden Banded Gobies. Is this correct? Do they interbreed? I'd like to have a go breeding them, but obviously need to have the same species first!
Dixon1990
If they are different species they will probably breed together, so you should spereate when in the spawning tank. You have them in brakish?
lmsmith
Yeah, they're in brackish water. It drives me crazy how pet stores advertise them as being fresh water fish with 'addition of salt can be beneficial'!
