supasi
EEEEEEKKKKKKKK! My brother just can around in a panic saying the heater in his guppy tank is stuck on and cooking his fish. Unfortunately its after 5pm and lfs is closed and my spare heater is being used at the moment on some bettas i was going to try breed. So Ive decided to go over after tea and bring his fish to my place and put in my planted tank. Good excuse to overhaul his tank as it has a bad hair algae problem. Why does this stuff always happen in winter?
smidey
just turn it off for tonight & turn on again in the morning until the water is warm again. the fish should be fine tonight.
supasi
Too late now. Was pretty ironic really cos earlier today we were talking about overhauling the tank on the weekend. It must not of liked that idea and then spat the dummy. My planted tank is now filled with about 30 guppies and a skunk loach.
Caryl
If you transfer fish and water to your planted tank you will also transfer the hair algae
