jolliolli
Hi there I'm looking to transport a juwel vision 450 tank, heres a link: http://www.juwel-aquarium.de/en/vision.htm To transport it i might need to rest the tank on the back glass, the tank has a centre plastic brace on the base. Is it safe to transport like this or will it put too much pressure on the tank and risk breakage. If possible i'll transport it upright but may have to transport it on its back if it doesn't fit
Slightly Blue Dalmation
wow nice tank! but yeah if its on a flat edge and the glass not under too much pressure would imagine it to be ok. plus lotsa padding
Ianab
The tank is designed to hold almost 1/2 a ton of water... It's not really a delicate item, well unless you drop it. As long as it's supported on a flat padded surface and you dont do any crazy manouvers it will be fine. Nice tank 8) Ian

TM
I would transport it on its base not the rear panel, as it has been built to sit like that.
jolliolli
yeah that will be the plan to transport it upright, if i have to lie it down i guess ill just try and pad as much polystyrene around it as possible.
jolliolli
made it home all ok with the tank and its inhabitants , those tanks are heavy! especially when its just two ppl. So now the planning for the upgrade begins!
