nacreous1 Posted July 10, 2004 Report Share Posted July 10, 2004 Hi - I'm wondering if there is a goldfish society that operates in Auckland or at least anyone reasonably well known in goldfish circles? The reason I ask is that I am going overseas and rather than sell my exotics I would prefer to give them to another enthusiast who is not a commercial breeder and that is known to other enthusiasts. I cant seem to find the contact details of anyone on the breed list. If this is the wrong thread, please let me know but no others seemed any more appropriate. So much so, that a while back, they were wanting to start a breeding pool or a club. Sorry I can't help any more. how long are you going for nacreous?? He even subscribes to the Goldfish Society of Great Britain (he is a Pom). Hawkes Bay also have a lady who regularly wins cold water fish and pond competitions and has bred goldfish for a number of years. PM me if you want some names and contacts as I would not like to name them here without their permission. I would imagine either would be happy to arrange pick up.
