Ant N
I would think it would be the barest minimum you need. Could you get two?

VinsonMassif
I have two CF 1200 on my 325L tank. It is only just enough. I have a few internal filters as well. A guy on TM in Nelson sells CF range for reasonable price. CF 1200, 2200, 2400. Check it out. Don't Discus need premium filtration and pristine water conditions? I think over filtration is best. If you can't afford the equipment to provide appropriate condition then save up your money a little longer Dixon.
dwalk
I'm also looking at this auction, I'd have thought that you'd want a higher flow rate, as a 360l tank is right on this filters limit. Esp for discus which are finiky about water quality.
Dixon1990
I can get CF1200 for $130 from PetPitstop in CHCH. And i will mostlikly have either my cycled 1000lph or 800lph internal in there, too.

Ant N
Save a bit longer and get what is best not just what you can afford now. you will be happier in the long run. I know from experience!
TM
If it was me i would get the eheim not the aqua-one. The Aqua one says up to 500ltrs but take that with a grain of saly. Shouldn't look at the ltr rating as it will come down to stocking levels not ltr. Go the Eheim
Dixon1990
Ive decided i will got the Aquaone CF1200 and my 1200lph internal to start with and upgrade with better brands once i get my car.
