Guest
Why aren't my fighter fry growing???? They're 9 weeks old and most are only 1cm. I thought they were ment to be atlest 3cm by this age. I'm feeding them microworms and a cube of BBS a day and water changes every 3-4 days. Any ideas on getting them to grow faster??
mumzy50
Maybe you could try egg yolk, its meant to be full of protein. And since you are doing regular water changes theres no worry of pollution.
Adrienne
Hi, you have quite a lot of them I think - correct me if I am wrong. The more you have the slower they grow. The bigger ones need to be moved to another tank and the smaller ones left to grow a bit. I put about 40 in each 4ft tank I have. If you don't have the space its time to start the cull process. Guest
Yeah I have quite a few. I've moved the four biggest ones out to a tank where their parents are so hopefully they'll grow a bit faster now.
