Hoody
I just picked up my new Hagen T5's today (yay for me!), and set them up on my tank. Everything was going fine and they made a HUGE difference, but now they're flickering on and off?? Anyone else had issue's like this?? Are they common for "over heating"? If I keep having trouble they'll be going back to the LFS tomorrow but thort I'd try here incase there was a easy/obvious fix?!
SpidersWeb
Sounds like a loose connection.

Hoody
Yeah i've made sure the bulb's are in as secure as possible and cap's are tight? Rung the store today and that's all they could suggst over the phone. Going to take it back in tomorrow and try some different bulb's as they also said these could be causing it due to the electronic ballast's?? SpidersWeb
Also make sure you're not using T5HO bulbs in a T5 setup. The power they require is different, but they're the same size.
