minchton
I dont know what is going on but we have just been in contact with hinepare accom centre and they tell us that they are a long term hostel and do NOT take overnight bookings. They would not take a booking from us for this weekend because of above reason and also because they are fully booked in any case with long termers. If any body else who is going books somewhere pleaze let us know as I would like as many groups together as we can get. I would suggest Kennedy park. Remember this is school holidays so we will have to get in quick. Mitch President TAPS
Caryl
Thanks for that Minch. We were going to stay there again but obviously they have changed the rules. We will go to Kennedy Park as well I think.
Wok
there is another motor camp out by the EIT (Eastern Institute of Technology) in Taradale which isn't too far away. I am sure they have overnight accomodation. Give them a try. I should be down in Napier too. I have family there so free accomodation
Bruce
Looks as though we have a bit of mis communication with Hinepare. Julie rang them not so long ago and they quoted $16 per nigh for their accomodation. Unfortunately it looks as though they haved changed tack on this The options from here are Kennedy Park Arataki Holiday Park (Havelock North-Hastings) There are already people from other clubs booked in there for the weekend For help with any other accomodation options please do not hesitate to email me [email protected] with your requirements and I will see what else will suit /Bruce
Caryl
Hazel is a retired lady who plans to come to the fish show. She is looking for a female who would like to share accommodation with her at Kennedy Park. PM me if you can help her.
Alan
Gee Caryl, that's a bit sexist isn't it. They even have mixed wards in hospitals now. If she shared with a gentleman, he could change the TV stations, while she made the meals, the beds, the vaccuming, the dishes. Have I missed anything out? Oh yes, the bill.
