Water Conditioner

Hi All

Was hoping if anyone could tell me what this product is like.

I have just brought 2L.

I have used it for the 1st time today and when I add it to the water it produces lots of what look like air bubbles.

Is it just the Chlorine and Chloramine being neutralised?

When I add the water to my tank it takes a few minutes for all the misty bubbly stuff to disappear. Nothing went wrong with my fish, it’s just that I’ve never used a product that reacts as much as this does.

Not moaning about the product, just wouldn’t mind an explanation.

I use it when dong water changes, it seems to be okay, i add it to the water I'm adding and mix it around first. I notice the white froth/bubbles when mixing it in but it goes away after a couple of minutes

I used to use it. thought it worked.

Now I don't bother adding anything when I change the water.

i used to use it & it was very good. decidied itwas too expensive so now i use the cheap aqua one stuff which also works great

I used to use it. I figured it was too expensive though. I use Prime now. Well I used to on town supply.

Yeah it's a good product and well known, but NZ water is pretty good so not really needed unless you're having problems. Use it in moderation and only when replacing water, so if you add 50 litres of water, then dose for 50L.

I found using too many water conditioners made the water go funny, so I stopped, and just use a squirt of water ager when doing large changes.

I just wanted to know what the product was like.

I know some people don't use conditioner but after reading the forum below I have started using it more frequently.
