firefish
I'm wanting to feed my baby GBAs and killies some brine shrimp. But which form (decap or hatched) will the gbas eat easier?

Matthew
Decap tends to float initially but will then sink - BN would eat it at that stage. Hatched BS can be lured to the bottom of the tank with light - although I just use to leave the lights off above the tank and they used to fill most of the water column. Personally I would recommend hatching your own brine shrimp as it encourages the fish to hunt it's food - also Killies tend to prefer live food HTH
Faran
Decap all the way for the GBAs. You can add a drop of water to the decap before feeding and it sinks immediately. Not sure about the killies but don't knock decap over live food til you've tried it. Baby discus weren't supposed to eat anything except BBS but I've proven that decap is better. firefish
ok... 2 different opinions :-? Maybe I'll try decap first cos it just means buying the decap.. not a hatchery etc.
