bulldogod
Ive added some branches to my bearded dragon tank and he now spends lot of time up the top of the branch, his light and basking rock are down on floor of tank.Should I change basking area to top of branch??? I thought that rock was better because it holds the heat?

Insect Direct
good question, beardies seem to like the highest place in there tank to sit, maybe a hirachy (sp) or dominance thing. not sure re basking spot though does it still come down to bask at all, maybe you could have the basking light on the branch with rock underneathe, hopefully sum1 else is of more help
Tabz
is the branch where he is near the light or above the light? can he get closer to the light from his new position? Have you checked the temp on your basking rock? might be too high for him, so hes moved to where he likes the temp better.
