Afrikan
Hmmm well gee a nice colony of africans maybe.... Maybe some gorgeous Tanganyikans... or a nice colony of smaller species Malawi like Demasoni....
ryanjury
You could do dem's, yellows and some peacocks (one strain) Or you could go down the tang road, some jullies/lelupi/brichardi/pulchers..

Slightly Blue Dalmation
so how many dems/yellows/peacocks could have in the tank? like the look of dem/yellow and a peacock in the tank, this doable or bit small for that?
Slightly Blue Dalmation
so looking at elecs and dem and maybe a pretty peacock, spec suggestions as looking for bright colours
ryanjury
It depends what you can source down there. Dem's have a min of 12 yellows as many as you want and I would recommend a single male or half a dozen peacocks thinning out to 1male and as many females as you can get.. It all depends on your filtration etc.. I am assuming your tank is a standard long 160L not one of those tall ones?
Slightly Blue Dalmation
tank size 760+400 and 550 heigh
David R
Could possibly do a couple of Gymnogeophagus balzani, or Archocentrus sajica (if you can get hold of them). A few plants and some driftwood, plus some cories for the cleanup crew.... 8)

Slightly Blue Dalmation
well i asked for peacocks now have 3 types to choose from haha, dragonblood, sunshine and red shoulder. are any easier to keep with electric yellows and demasoni than the others? or is the only difference the colouring? also which are true strains and which are hybrid?
Afrikan
Dragonblood is hybrid... Other two, not. No difference in temperament, just colour. Yet in saying that my hansbaenchi I had in the past were fair devils  Just the lot I had I think 8)
