MarkLB
If its the same thing as with my Peacock, the treatment I used worked really quickly. I do think that if I left him alone it would've got better but taken longer.

snookie
the scale over the eye has been damaged , if you can see its eye , it will eventually heal itself imo

ryanjury
I left one untreated and the eye rotted out it was pretty nasty, I always catch them and stick some meth blue on it and stick them in a smaller tank with some salt.. Depends if you want to risk their eye
Anna_&_Chris
course not ! whats that mesh blue stuff and where can i get it? i dont have a spare tank atm but i could still put some of that mesh blue stuff on his eye.. man hope he will come out rite coz he lookes... dont even know the word)) should we say quite funny
ryanjury
meth blue (that is abbreviated but any petshop worker will know it) is from petshops its a blue dye, best to catch the fish and hold it over a bucket or something of water as the stuff stains like nothing on earth and if you get it on your carpet or on your hands it will stain, also if you stick enough in your tank it will stain all the silicon an ugly blue colour you will never get out.
