They can be kept with shrimps yes. Require 100L+ I wouldn't mix them with other fish. Maybe clowns but nothing sensitive. Our's killed our firefish in under 2minutes. davidb Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 depends on species. some are better than others. ones like allens damsels and to a lesser extent yellow tails are less aggro than others, but they will still nip at other fish... and your hands.
