jamosfish
And the fact that the exportation of them from Rio Xingú is now band! Although they are still being caught and sold, most places will not buy them.
DantezGirl
now i get the whole fish pricing thing and its quite sad there taken from the wild i'm still learning about witch fish are taken from the wild and wicth fish have to be imported ect so thanks a lot for all the info
BK
Don't think that wild imports are bad, better to have the locals make cash from this than clear fell the forest and farm. Need to look at this case-by-case. Look at Kea's, can be purchase over sea's no problem from birds that have been smuggled just think if they could be export legally and the money made from this goes back in to pest control in the forest. Not saying that I would like this to happen but just saying that some of the labels we use can be misleading. Any way good luck tracking down the catfish and good luck with breeding (I'm keen on some when you do)
tHEcONCH
L270 - I sold 4 of these to a local fella who wanted to breed them (I got several spawns but never raised the young) - I will see how he got on, but be warned, they aren't cheap!
