evilknieval69
Would it be fine to spawn some species, such as eggersi and/or palmqvisti in 6's? Like 2 males, and 4 females (ie two trios) I have eggersi galore, and i have two trios of palmqvisti anyway, so was wondering if i could just spawn them as a big group... If not, would it matter if i were to give a single male, 10 females to play with? Keep him happy Opinions?
Barrie
Ive found that most of my Nothos fight when the peat is in so you may have problems but its certianly worth trying... let me know how you got on
alanmin4304
I wouldn't put in two males as they will probably fight. I have bred one male to 3 females but if you put too many you can end up with one laying and the rest eating.

I've heard of mop spawners doing that (1 fem laying, rest eating) but that wouldnt happen with annuals would it?
alanmin4304
If you have too many females your egg fertility rate is likely to go down also. I used to breed them on sand and that may have made a difference
