Dixon1990
I had a pair of angelfish but the male died so now i want to put the female into another planted tank. The angelfish body is about 7-8cm diameter and in the tank i want to put it in there are 3 clown loaches, a pleco a BN, 6 black widows and a pair of angelfish. Will the lonely angelfish be alright in here? She used to be freindly to other fish but it has been on its own for so long so things may have changed? alanmin4304
The pair are likely to pick on the new one---angel behaviour
bdspider
If all else fails, I also have a lonely angel who is looking for a friend to come live with him/her (how do you sex angels?)
AMAZONIAN
Hi All. I would suggest that you dont shift the single angel in with the pair Aaron. The dominant (alpha) Male will more likely than not kill it., and at least it would be picked on continually until it lies on it's side and dies. This is a sad fact of Angel fish Life. I had trouble with my Black male after he had been on his own for a while and then introduced him to a new girl. He wasn't interested in her but only having the space to himself. he is nowin a tank on his own again with big gouramis who had the run of the tank and set up their territory. Good Luck.
