tHEcONCH
Parazooanthids have taken root on the skeleton of my Cataphyllia - should I remove them? (and if so how?)

wasp
should I remove them? (and if so how?) Herein the dilema faced by a lot of people who have put these in their tank  . They can take over EVERYTHING! Best plan for them in my opinion, is to keep them on a particular rock that is seperated from other stuff in such a way they can be contained, and killed out around the edges from time to time. tHEcONCH
Whats the best way to kill them without collateral damage?
wilson
carefully cutting them off?
wasp
If they are just on one rock, boil a jug of water & put in a pot, then carefully dip the parts of the rock in where you want to kill them. If they are already all over the tank, not sure.

land_lubber
Doesn't skeleton mean that its dead?
tHEcONCH
It has no flesh on the outside, but it still has a live organism attached to the inside - I think I'll just chop them off with a sharp knife.
