owen
I doubt they would bother with them. my frogs never ate the pond snails in their tank. I guess that they are to small and slow, + they live under the water and frogs are not good at catching things under water. I have daphnia and pond snails with my tank. The water is always clear. ExotherMan
I can guarantee you that a frog can eat a snail. Unusual for them to predate them totally as more often than not, more favourable foods come first. But if the frog is plenty bigger than the snail it will eat it. I used to feed ramshorn snails to golden bell frogs all the time.

Unusual for them to predate them totally as more often than not, more favourable foods come first. But if the frog is plenty bigger than the snail and its really hungry it will eat it. I used to feed ramshorn snails to golden bell frogs all the time, they were meant to help combat algae also, but when the frogs noticed them... all over.
