Jalil30
Can Dwarf or Giant Gouramis live in harmony with Convicts? :-?
Wok
when convicts are mating.. no fish is a good companion with them  then again.. a big tank will help
David R
Would be pretty funny watching a pair of convicts having a go at a full grown GG, would be like misquitos vs. the Hindenburg....
Afrikan
Wouldn't risk the dwarf gourami with convicts, but you could give the GG a go  The GG can pack some punch when they want to aswell  When convicts are breeding they will more or less take on anything... we had a pair that decided they owned one end of the tank, and all the larger aggressive cichlids were down the other end of the tank, happily in each others space just to get some peace from the convicts

Jalil30
Actually i would prefer the 1ft fish (banded gourami) that you spoke of... I am not sure if I could accommodate 2 , 2ft+ fish. although there are like 3-4 inches now at the local fish store. Sorry about my measurements me and metric do not get along too well.
