Vinnie
For a cheep bottle, I've been told get a used co2 fire extinguisher (a steel one last longer) and get it re checked and a new valve and fitting put on to it. When I looked into it last, cost about $130 - 140 for fitting/valve and bottle check. About $35 per refill. Better than $400 - 600 for a new bottle, and better than hiring a bottle off boc at $144 per year Bottle checks last for 5 year before having to get re checked and serviced Hope all this helps
SamH
Most people running nano tanks on the PT Forums use paintball cylinders and they seem to work fine. I find that my microworm mix smells more obviously but when I open up the DIY CO2, Mmmm.
